New partners Officer Hopps and Wilde are struggling to find the magic they had when they broke their first case. While trying to get in sync and better understand each other, they stumble upon another case that delves deeper into Zootopia's history.

A solid animal police procedural sequel. The story explores how the differences in personality, nature, and communication can affect a relationship. The movie does expand on the city of Zootopia and its history, giving it depth and substance. There is action, suspense, comedy, and some throwback references that older people may understand. This movie is definitely for older children, but it is colorful and filled with animals that will entertain younger children as well. This is worth a night out with the family.
