The Minions' search for their boss continues until they stumble across Hollywood. Two Minions set out to make their own movie with the help of a monster.

The third Minions stand-alone movie, and this one is even more of a prequel than the first two. The story focuses on two specific Minions and is set further in the past than the first two. The Minion shenanigans are the same as they always are, with a mixture of languages as their dialect and the classic slapstick comedy. The one hour and thirty-minute runtime feels long since the story takes a bit to get to the point and the monsters. The movie has some intense scenes that may be scary for younger children. This one is worth a stream for a family movie night at home.
