Violent Night

The Lightstones gather for their traditional family Christmas filled with kissing the matriarch's ass and groveling for her favor. The evening is going as usual until all the staff turns out to be a team of thieves executing a heist. Being held hostage and their lives in danger, the youngest Lightstone reaches out to Santa Claus for help. Unfortunately for him, he is enjoying himself in another part of their mansion instead of delivering presents and is forced to intervene.

The holiday season is a magical time of year. Still, most movies follow the same story arc, and this one does not. This movie takes the classic Christmas movies and adds a ton of violence and gore. The story is straightforward and predictable, but the action and violence are intense, especially for a Christmas movie. The characters are simple and have little to no backstory, except for Santa Claus. The film is short, gets to the point, and is full of gory action. Stream this one if you are looking for a violent, action-filled Christmas movie that is not Die Hard.
