Transformers: Rise of the Beasts

The Maximals escape their home planet before it is destroyed. Years later, an artifact is discovered that could help the Autobots get home. Unbeknownst to them, the artifact is also sought after by the same being that destroyed the Maximals' planet. With the fate of the Earth hanging in the balance, the Autobots, Maximals, and humans must work together to save it.

Another installment to the Transformer franchise. The movie is a classic Transformer movie, and the story follows the standard arch, which makes it predictable. Over the years, the CGI action sequences have improved, and this movie has some good action sequences. Regarding how this movie fits in with the rest, it does not. It implies it is a sequel to the movie Bumblebee but does not make any connection to the other films, characters, or histories. The movie is all over the place, introducing a separate group of transformers, implying the ability to time travel, and much more. If you are a franchise fan, this is worth the watch; otherwise, this is something to stream at home.
