The Shift

Destiny brought them together, and tragedy separated them. Kevin struggles with connecting with Molly after the loss of their son. His life is in shambles until an accident brings him in front of an ominous man who goes by The Benefactor. The Benefactor can "shift" people from one reality to another. Refusing to work for him, Kevin is trapped in a dystopian reality ruled by The Benefactor and must find a way back to Molly.

This film combines science fiction and Biblical stories to make a multiverse movie. The sci-fi portion of the movie is intriguing and has elements reminiscent of the classic television show Quantum Leap. The religious part of the movie is tactfully done, peppering the Christian and Bible references throughout the film. There is a tiny bit of action, but mostly, the movie is philosophical with religious undertones. If you are religious and want to see your religion represented on the big screen, this is the movie for you.
