The Marvels

While investigating strange occurrences across the universe, Carol Danvers, Monica Rambeau, and Kamala Khan's lives and powers are intertwined. While figuring out what is happening to them and reversing it, they must stop Dar-Benn from executing her plan to revive her desolate home planet by sacrificing others.

The latest installment of the MCU, this movie picks up right where the show, Ms. Marvel, left off. The story is highly predictable and expands on what happened to Captain Marvel after the first film. There are a couple of cheesy parts, and there is not much action. Fortunately, the movie is short. Unfortunately, many opportunities to connect to the MCU were missed. The movie is a good watch but not worth a theater ticket; stream it on Disney+.
