The historical story of an exiled Joseon Dynasty king and the village chief who became his warden.

This movie is a historical drama mixed with comedy and action. Based on actual history, the story shows that even a king in exile can be revered by his people and effect change, as well as the lengths a village chief goes to for his people. There is a lot of comedy before the movie turns dramatic and tragic. The runtime of one hour and fifty-six minutes is the perfect length to share this historical event. Great watch for international film fans, Korean film fans, and historical buffs.
