The Invitation

After the loss of her mother, Evie feels completely alone and lost. She decides to do an ancestry DNA test and see if there is more she can learn about her family. The results reveal an entire branch of her family tree in England, and one of them even reaches out to her. She is invited to a grand family wedding, where she meets this newly discovered family and learns more about her mother's past. While at the festivities, things are not what they seem, and she quickly learns the dark secret of the Alexanders.

This 23 and Me horror movie takes something that has grown in popularity in our society and adds it to a classic horror story arc. There are some plot holes, and the film is not as scary or horrific as expected. Recommend watching this movie when it is streaming and when you are looking for something that does not require a lot of thought.
