This latest version of Superman is refreshing. The story is vastly different from the previous ones, focusing more on a day in the life of Superman, rather than an origin story. The movie incorporates numerous aspects of Superman lore that other films have never explored, while also featuring different characters from the DC Universe. The action is exciting and thrilling, especially with the addition of the supporting cast. The movie is emotional, funny, and walks the line between realism and a comic book. The two-hour and nine-minute runtime will fly by faster than a speeding bullet. This movie is an excellent start to the new era of the DC Extended Universe, and fans of Superman will enjoy it. This is a must-see in the theater to fully appreciate the visuals and sound.
