Celebrating her birthday with an intergalactic pub crawl, Kara struggles to find a place to call home. Her celebrations are sidetracked when she gets involved in a quest for vengeance and to save her dog, Krypto, with a young girl.

The latest movie in the DC Universe. A standard save-something-important story arc with some Supergirl origin story mixed in. The action is standard Superman style. The story and action leave much to be desired, especially for the rebuild of the DCU. There are no major tie-ins, Easter Eggs, or connections to past or future films. Despite having a runtime of one hour and forty-eight minutes, short for a superhero movie, it feels long and drawn out. Not the worst superhero movie, but could have been better. Might be worth a stream when available and if the DCU comes together as planned.
