In 1997, a video parlor in the small village of Malegaon struggled to stay in business. The owner's young brother, Nasir, and his friends make a parody movie to save it. Over the next decade, Nasir becomes a local directorial phenomenon. Nasir's success comes at the cost of his friendships, leading to more hardships and struggles.
