Shazam! Fury of the Gods

Billy Batson is struggling with both his personal and superhero life. His siblings are venturing out on their own, he is getting older, and he doubts if he truly is the champion the wizard thinks he is. As he struggles with his shortcomings, the daughters of Atlas emerge, looking to avenge their father and regain the powers they lost. As Billy and the team battle for the world's fate, they learn more about the wizard, the word Shazam, their layer, and what it means to be a true hero.

The second movie of the Shazam franchise and another installment to the DC universe, this film could have been better than it was. Due to some off-screen politics, this movie has few connections with other movies. The film on its own is good. It has a good balance of action, comedy, and family values. It is a lighthearted and funny movie that can be watched with the entire family. Overall, the film is great for family movie night, but a letdown if you were hoping for this movie to save the DC universe. Watch it when it is available to stream.
