Puss In Boots: The Last Wish

The legendary Puss in Boots has finally run out of lives and is on his last one. Facing his mortality and a lethal bounty hunter on his trail, he hides. Living the simple life of an ordinary house cat, Puss has all but given up on himself until Goldie Locks, and the three bears find him. He discovers the existence of a fallen star that has the potential to grant one wish. With the help of a new friend, and an old flame, Puss in boots is racing to see who can get to the star first.

This sequel is a decade in the making and much better than the original. The story is heartfelt and told in the classic Shrek way. The animation is excellent, especially the action sequences, which are more of a hybrid of comic book and anime-style animation, giving it a unique feel. The movie has some scenes that might be too intense and scary for younger children. Puss in Boots: The Last Wish is an excellent movie for a family movie night.
