After their spirits are restored to their bodies, Nezha and Ao Bing are immediately thrust into another calamity, the impending doom of Chengtang Pass. Nezha and Ao Bing must work together to attain the power necessary to save Nezha's hometown and family.

An epic film based on Chinese mythology. The story picks up right where the first movie leaves off, making it necessary to watch the first one to fully appreciate and understand this one. The animation is fantastic, full of vibrant colors, beautiful settings, unique creatures, and thrilling action sequences. The two-hour and twenty-four-minute runtime is pure entertainment with laughs, emotions, mythology, and battles. The story and visuals make it totally worth catching in theaters, regardless of having seen the first one.
