This live-action reboot adaptation of the classic 80's cartoon will mostly appeal to diehard fans. The story is fairly standard: a child is sent away for protection and must return to save their planet. Overall, the movie is campy, corny, and basically a cartoon. The action is whimsical and silly. There is some adult humor. The visuals are alright and not very awe-inspiring. The two-hour and twenty-minute runtime will feel long and drawn out to non-fans, but diehard fans seem to enjoy it. Watch if you are a fan and know the story and characters.
