Growing up, Audrey and Lolo were inseparable. They did everything together, especially since they were the only two Chinese girls in town. A white couple adopted Audrey, and traditional Chinese parents raised Lolo. They both grow up aspiring to achieve different things. Audrey, an associate at a law firm, can make partner if she can close a big deal in China. Lolo, a struggling artist, is going along with her. What is meant to be a simple business trip turns into a chaotic girls' trip and an adventure to discover Audrey's Chinese roots.

A pretty standard girls' trip comedy but with an Asian cast. The humor is raunchy and fun, allowing the Asian community to break out of stereotypical character arcs. Some of the jokes are specific to the community. They may go over anyone's head who needs to become more familiar with their traditions and costumes. The story has more to it than just raunchy comedy that children of immigrants can relate to. The movie gets to the point and has a good amount of laughs. This is a fun movie to stream when having friends over.
