Haunted Mansion

Gabbie and her son, Travis, move into their new home outside New Orleans and immediately discover it is haunted. The ghosts continuously haunt them no matter where they run until they return to the mansion. Exhausted and losing hope, they enlist the help of a priest, who in turn enlists the help of an astrophysicist. The cycle repeats until a group of people are trapped in the mansion. Together, they must figure out the manor's history, who is holding them captive, and how to escape so they can all return to their lives.

The film is a reboot based on the famous Disneyland attraction Haunted Mansion. The film has many recognizable attributes of the ride written into the story. The movie is intense and may not be suitable for younger children. The story is heavy and dark, dealing with losing loved ones and the afterlife. The film is a good length, dragging on at some points. This is a great movie to watch if you have older children and looking for something a bit more mature to watch. Stream it when it is available.
