After successfully completing his mission but having to sacrifice himself, Tyler Rake awaits the sweet release of death. Unfortunately for him, his friends would not let him go so quickly. After months of recovery and isolation, Tyler is approached by a mysterious man with a job to save his ex-wife's sister and children. Tyler accepts, hoping it will help him come to terms with his past and gain forgiveness from his ex-wife for his shortcomings.

This sequel picks up right where the first movie finishes. The story is relatively simple, expanding on the main character's backstory. The movie hits the ground running and gets right into the action. The film is short and to the point. This is a good watch with a group of friends or to have on in the background.
