In 2002, practitioners of Falun Gong, a spiritual lifestyle, were persecuted and oppressed by the Communist government in Changchun City, China. With the government spreading misinformation and demonizing the members, a handful decided to take matters into their own hands and set the record straight. They hijack the state TV broadcast and share the true meaning behind their practice. This is their story, shared by Daxiong using his world-renowned comic animation skills.

With the help of a well-known comic book artist and a practitioner of Falun Gong, he takes it upon himself to share this story. The documentary is a good length and in a different language. The animation is beautifully done, sharing the story of each individual involved in the hijacking. The pace of the film is slow and can feel long. This film is for someone who enjoys history, politics, and how government control and oppression do not always work. It is a film that should be watched when you can focus and give it undivided attention.
