The human race is forced into exile above 8,000 feet after creatures emerge from the ground and exterminate them. Three years after their appearance, Will is forced to venture below the line to get a medical supply needed to keep his son, Hunter, alive. Teaming up with the camp pariah, Nina, they head down in hopes of surviving, saving Hunter, and potentially the human race.

This science fiction movie could have been on a streaming service. The premise could have been more original, and the story has some plot holes. It also has some unique takes that could have made it better. With a run time of one hour and thirty-one minutes, the movie gets to the meat of the story. This movie might be worth a stream in the background or while having a group of friends over.
