Tanjiro and the rest of the Demon Slayer Corps descend into the infinite castle. As they traverse the vast labyrinth, they must fight their way through upper-class demons to find Muzan and put an end to their longstanding feud.
The latest installment of the Demon Slayer series, this movie treads the line between fantastic and amazing. The story is terrific, expanding more on the characters, the demons, and the feud between them. The story also introduces new elements that could have been worked in earlier in the series during different arcs. The animation, especially the fight sequences, is beautifully done with amazing colors, coordination, and accompanying music. The drawback is that the fight sequences are interrupted by long and detailed backstories introducing and expanding on the new elements. With the addition of the new components to the story, the two-hour and thirty-five-minute runtime feels long and dragged out. This is an excellent addition to the franchise, and fans of the series must catch it on the big screen to truly experience it, but it does come with a drawback.
