Death of a Unicorn

A father and daughter are off to the middle of nowhere to broker a lifetime deal with a wealthy pharmaceutical family. On their way, they strike a unicorn. Upon arriving, they and the family discover that the unicorn has curative properties and, as expected, set off to capitalize on this discovery. Their excitement is short-lived when they find out more unicorns are in the area, and they must figure out what the unicorns want before they are all killed.

This horror comedy is based on a dark twist on unicorn mythology. The story provides a barebones backstory for the characters and mythology. There are equal parts jump scares and comedy peppered throughout. With a minimal story, the one-hour and forty-seven-minute runtime is longer than necessary. This movie is unique and entertaining and worth a stream.
