Elodie accepts the wedding proposal from an unknown kingdom for the sake of her kingdom. Hesitant and excited about this marriage's new possibilities, she sets out to make the best of it. Her joy is short-lived when she quickly discovers she is a sacrifice to the dragon living on the island. As she fights for her survival, she learns the dark history of the royal family.

This Netflix twist on the damsel-in-distress story arc is entertaining. The story provides enough backstory and context to keep it interesting but does not get bogged down in the details. The action is thrilling for a young girl going against a dragon. The visuals and dragon are great for a straight-to-streaming movie. Between the story, action, and dragon, this one-hour and fifty-minute movie flies by. Add this to your watch list, especially if you like dragons.
