Creed III

Adonis Creed has had a fantastic career. After spending years in the ring, he has finally hung his gloves up and decided to focus on his family and helping up-and-coming boxers. Adonis is planning a prize fight for the raining heavyweight champion of the world until an old friend from his past resurfaces. With the return of an old friend, Adonis is forced to face his past while trying to manage all the chaos his childhood friend has created.

The third installment to the Creed franchise, this film expands on Adonis' backstory. The movie has all the main ingredients of the previous Creed and Rocky films. Unfortunately, the final boxing match was somewhat anti-climatic compared to the earlier films. The movie has a different feel than the last two, which could be attributed to the absence of the Rocky character. Even without Rocky and a different feel, this movie is a solid watch and progresses the overall story of Creed. If you are a fan of Rocky and Creed, then this is definitely worth a watch in theaters.
