After Charles Deetz's sudden death, the rest of the Deetz family must return home to the Ghost House to bid their patriarch farewell. While Lydia has become famous for her gift, her daughter, Astrid, is not a believer. Once back home, strange things start to happen, and Lydia must call on Beetlejuice to help her sort it all out.

Almost forty years after the first one hit the silver screen, we have the sequel. Unfortunately, the story is all over the place and has three premises in one, which degrades the movie's overall quality. The movie has all the classic Beetlejuice comedy, antics, visuals, and references. While the story has some plotholes and jumps around, it is still streamlined and concise, with one hour and forty-five minutes runtime. The movie is entertaining, nostalgic, and has some merit, but it is worth more of a stream than a ticket.
