Jake Sully, his growing family, and the Na'vi enjoyed years of peace and prosperity, as long as it lasted. With the return of the sky people came the return of old enemies. To keep his family safe, Jake uproots them from what they know and thrusts them into a new environment, culture, and way of life.

This is a fantastic sequel. The first movie created an entirely new world, and this movie expands on it. The story is simple: a father doing whatever is necessary to protect his family. The simple story, combined with the expansion of the world of Pandora, its beings, creatures, and culture, is breathtaking. The three-hour and twelve-minute runtime seems daunting, but it is not. The story, scenery, foliage, creatures, and Na'vi culture are engaging and entertaining. A must-watch for the preparation of the third installment in the franchise.
