With the loss of one of their own, the Sullys struggle with coming to terms with their grief while trying to protect Pandora from the aliens, only to be further complicated by the involvement of the aggressive Ash people.

The third installment of the franchise expands on the lore of the goddess, the people, and cultures of Pandora. As well as continuing the major conflict between the Na'Vi and the humans, and the evolution of the humans on the alien planet. Overall, the movie's aspects are similar to the first two: the visuals, the action, and the wonder of Pandora. The different layers of the story make the three-hour and seventeen-minute runtime go by quickly. Definitely worth a trip to the theaters to be fully immersed in Pandora.
