When a wealthy Russian client comes to her club, Ani seizes the opportunity to make money. What starts off as a transactional relationship quickly turns into a marriage. The marriage unravels quickly, and Ani is left alone, distraught, and with people she does not know searching for Ivan.
This is a very interesting, twisted, and somewhat predictable movie. The story is relatively simple: a stripper takes her shot at getting rich, but it does not work out as she planned. The movie is categorized as a comedy, but that depends on the viewers' humor type. Some scenes will elicit a laugh from most. The story gives little substance or backstory to the characters, leaving them vague and superficial. The supporting cast offers some intricacies to the story and the characters. Being two hours and nineteen minutes in runtime, this movie could have been streamlined. This movie is heavy on nudity, sex, language, and drug use. It is an original story and unique compared to what has been released this year, but it might fall in the realm of streaming for most.
