A Haunting in Venice

Hercule Poirot has retired from the detective profession and has hidden himself in Venice, Italy. His routine and solitude are disturbed when an old acquaintance and renowned author comes to his door, inviting him to a seance at a historically haunted house held by a bereaved mother hoping to contact her daughter. Hercule is a non-believer who attends the seance and discovers more about the house and the death than the supernatural.

The third installment in the franchise, this film takes a spookier approach to the murder mystery genre. The movie is short and has some suspenseful parts. The mystery is too predictable, but it does manage to give a twist and turn here and there. It's worth a stream for any sleuths looking for a mystery.
