Wish

Rosas is ruled by a sorcerer-king who encourages his citizens to trade their greatest wish for the chance to be granted by him. Asha discovers the true nature of the sorcerer while interviewing to be his apprentice. Distraught and needing guidance, she wishes upon a star, summoning one down for the sky. With the balance of magic shifted Asha must save the people of Rosas and prevent the sorcerer from attaining more power.

This film is meant to celebrate Disney's 100th anniversary. While it has many classic Disney touches, the story could be more captivating. There are many easter eggs referring to classic Disney movies and characters, but not enough to make it worth a ticket to the theaters. The film will entertain younger children, but adults and adolescents may find it boring. The animation of this movie differs from the classic and modern Disney movies and has more of an animated comic book or video game feel. Stream this movie when available on Disney+ unless you want something to take younger family members to.
