Ten years after their first encounter with a megalodon, the team returns with new leadership and the same goal: exploring the ocean's depths. While on a routine mission to map the depths, they encounter another group in the depths. With conflicting interests, the teams clash, and chaos erupts, allowing the ancient beasts to escape and wreak havoc on the world.
This movie is straightforward: a group of humans doing things they should not do and should have learned their lesson the first time. The movie defies many scientific facts. Then again, it is about a dinosaur shark, so it all fits the premise. The movie is worth a stream in the background when looking for something short and does not require a lot of thought.
